Abstract

The present investigation entitled Circuit games for the development of gross motor skills in children in the fourth year of Basic Education in the Mariscal Antonio José de Sucre D7 Educational Unit in the 2021 2022 school year. Its general objective was to analyze circuit games as a tool for the development of gross motor skills in fourth-year children; Regarding the methodology, the type of experimental research was improved with a mixed approach. In this investigation, two variables were analyzed: circuit game and gross motor skills, for which reference is made to different investigations. The teachers, despite having knowledge, agree that the circuit games are considered as a tool for transmitting understanding, that they are not taken into account in the plans for the reinforcement of basic skills in the integral development of children these being important within the teaching practice. Finally, a proposal is presented that includes a guide aimed at teachers of the fourth year of basic education for the development of gross motor skills, which can be useful to the institution and applied in the lower educational years.
