Implementación de la metodología 5S como estrategia de productividad en la mecánica Tecni Auto.

Abstract

In the present research work a study was elaborated in the mechanical workshop Tecni Auto, this is dedicated to make repairs to establish the operation of a vehicle or its equipment and components, the purpose of the project is to improve the place in terms of order and cleanliness increasing the productivity of workers, through the 5S methodology, based on a research and descriptive methodological design, to know the current state of the workshop. In order to achieve the established objectives, surveys of employees and customers are used, an observation sheet before and after the study, presenting a quali quantitative approach, obtaining as results that the place was in poor condition, being optimal to apply the 5S methodology Seiri (order), Seiton (clean), Seiso (classify and group the tools by use), Seiketsu (standardization), Sitsuke (discipline). By implementing the 5S methodology as a strategy, improvements are achieved in the main problems presented by the workshop, being the reduction of downtime, order in the work areas, mobility of personnel, tools placed in sight and listed, activities that do not add value and cleanliness of the place. Finally, it is recommended to carry out continuous training to invite staff to work under the 5S established in their workplace, maintaining constant improvement in the establishment and generating maximum productivity of workers.
