Abstract:
To begin the work on the implementation of a cooling system in cutting processes, is related to the need to improve cuts to different steels used in the metalworking industry. For the fulfillment of this objective, we started with bibliographic research to determine the most appropriate system to install, as a result of this, we were inclined to use an HMI system, and complementary accessories such as TFT screen, microcontrollers, Arduino UNO, flow sensor and electric pump, which will be responsible for the transport and storage of the cutting coolant in addition to the use of hydraulic, mechanical and electrical components for the proper functioning of the system. For the design of the cooling system in cutting processes, different types of drawings and electrical and electronic diagrams were developed, for which programs such as Autodesk Inventor, Proteus, Arduino, and FluidSIM were used. All this is related to hydraulics and hydrostatics due to the need to calculate the flow rate delivered by the submersible pump installed in the chamber. Once the construction is finished and after performing operation tests and measurement of variables, it is concluded that the system built offers optimal results in the metal mechanical area, thus satisfying the users needs. Finally, it can be mentioned that automated refrigeration systems with HMI allow increased productivity and input savings.

Para empezar el proyecto sobre la implementación de un sistema de refrigeración en procesos de corte, está relacionado con la necesidad de mejorar cortes a los diferentes aceros empleados en la industria metalmecánica. Para el cumplimiento de este objetivo, se inició con investigación bibliográfica para determinar el sistema más acorde a instalar, como resultado de esto, se inclinó por la utilización de un sistema HMI, y accesorios complementarios como son pantalla TFT, microcontroladores, Arduino UNO, sensor de flujo y bomba eléctrica, los cuales se encargarán del transporte y almacenamiento del líquido refrigerante de corte además de la utilización de componentes hidráulicos, mecánicos y eléctricos para el correcto funcionamiento del sistema. Para el diseño del sistema de refrigeración en procesos de corte se desarrollaron diferentes tipos de planos y diagramas eléctricos y electrónicos, para lo cual se utilizó programas tales como, Autodesk Inventor, Proteus, Arduino, y FluidSIM. Todo esto está relacionado a la hidráulica e hidrostática por la necesidad de calcular el caudal que entrega la bomba sumergible instalada en la cámara. Una vez finalizado la construcción y luego de realizar pruebas de funcionamiento y medición de variables, se concluye que el sistema construido ofrece resultados óptimos en el área metalmecánica, satisfaciendo así las necesidades del usuario. Por último, se puede mencionar que los sistemas de refrigeración automatizados con HMI permiten incrementar la productividad y ahorro de insumos.
