Abstract

Currently, technology has allowed individuals and entities to manage their information more efficiently and organized through various software and applications created for this purpose. Web applications are used for managing large amounts of information in various educational institutions, where the use of these applications facilitates the collection and tabulation of student information within the institution. Therefore, every institution focused on education includes a web service that enables the aforementioned actions to be carried out effectively and efficiently. For this reason, the present project, focused on the academic management module for teaching staff, seeks to implement a module within the system that allows teachers and institutional authorities to access, view, create, and manipulate student information and their scores throughout the academic period. This project addresses the institution s problems and needs by identifying the administrative processes, regulations, and requirements that will provide an effective solution to the current issues. It also demonstrates the use of tools for developing a web system, such as databases, frameworks, and libraries, adhering to the Modular Programming methodology for the development of this module and conducting the testing phase based on the requirements requested by the institution s staff. It will be verified that the software has successfully passed the testing phase, allowing its subsequent implementation in the institution for future use.
