Abstract

In this project, the feasibility study for the relocation of the Guandolin workshop was conducted with the aim of finding a location that would enable an increase in production capacity, resulting in a sustained rise in sales in both its current market and untapped market. This was achieved through a market study that identified the quantity of demand and supply within the workshop's industry. The technical study helped identify the limitations of the current workshop in terms of its location, layout, and productivity, which were then compared with the prospective relocation site. As a result, it was determined that the workshop is significantly constrained by the aforementioned factors, and upon contrasting the expected values with those of the relocation site, it was discovered that the most feasible solution for the business's improvement, both financially and in terms of capacity, was to change the operational location. Lastly, the economic analysis using Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) helped establish the project's viability, with the investment expected to be recouped in under 3 years. Consequently, it can be concluded that the project is feasible for the workshop and brings forth several benefits that facilitate the business's progressive development over time. This project also aims to set a precedent for other businesses seeking suitable physical spaces, given that the current location is insufficient to meet demand, as observed in bakeries, sewing workshops, convenience stores, and mechanics.
