Abstract:
This project was carried out through the design of a discharge and charge module for the respective nickel metal hybrid batteries of Instituto Universitario Vida Nueva. With the purpose of verifying the electrical behavior of the hybrid batteries in their charge and discharge phase according to their operation, with the design that was carried out in the PROTEUS application, we will proceed to select the respective elements that will be used for the respective module.
The goal of this project was to develop a system to control the power and temperature values of hybrid batteries during the charge and discharge processes. To achieve this goal, the Arduino system was used to monitor and control both the potential and temperature of a single battery during the charge and discharge processes. In this way, it was possible to observe the process that the module would carry out on the test bench.
Finally, the discharge and charge circuit of the hybrid batteries was built, this through a printing on photo paper which was passed to a Bakelite which was immersed in ferric chloride to mark the channels of the circuit that will allow the control of the module, the programming for the module was developed in Arduino which was programmed on the board through a computer which allows charging high voltaje battery modules individually with a constant energy that is set at the start of the test. This current can be set between 0.7 A and 2.5 A for modules up to 20 volts.

El presente proyecto se realizó mediante el diseño de un módulo de descarga y carga de las respectivas baterías híbridas de níquel metal del Instituto Universitario Vida Nueva, Con la finalidad de verificar el comportamiento eléctrico de las baterías híbridas en su fase de carga y descarga según su funcionamiento, con el diseño que se realizó en la aplicación PROTEUS se procederá a seleccionar los respectivos elementos que se utilizaran para el respectivo módulo. El objetivo de este proyecto consistió en desarrollar un sistema para controlar los valores de potencia y temperatura de las baterías híbridas durante los procesos de carga y descarga. Para lograr esta meta, se utilizó el sistema de Arduino para monitorear y controlar tanto el potencial como la temperatura de una sola batería durante los procesos de carga y descarga. De esta manera, se pudo observar el proceso que el módulo llevaría a cabo en el banco de pruebas. Finalmente, se construyó el circuito de descarga y carga de las baterías híbridas, esto a través de una impresión en papel foto el cual se pasó a una baquelita la cual se sumergió en cloruro férrico para marcar los canales del circuito que permitirá el control del módulo, la programación para el módulo se desarrolló en Arduino el mismo que fue programado en la placa a través de una computadora el mismo que permite cargar módulos de baterías de alta tensión individualmente con una energía constante que se ajusta al inicio de la prueba. Esta corriente se puede establecer entre 0.7 A y 2.5 A para módulos de hasta 20 voltios.
