Abstract

Nowadays, active methodologies play an indispensable role in the teachinglearning processes, this is due to the constant evolution of teaching, so it has been necessary to implement new techniques, methodologies and teaching strategies that are at the forefront of the general context through which the educational system is going through. The importance of active methodologies lies in the contribution for both teachers and students, since they appear as an alternative to traditionalism and involve the students much more, making them the central base of the teaching-learning process, generating links with what they already knew plus the new knowledge they are obtaining in relation to the experiences of working in an active and participatory way. With the purpose of knowing the direction that this new educational process has been taking, in which greater emphasis is placed on the change of the paradigm of education, for this reason we have worked with a descriptive exploratory approach, which allows us to describe the conditions through which the educational processes go through, in order to propose active methodologies that contribute significantly to the development and integral growth of the students. With respect to the results of the surveys made to the teachers and students of the Efrata Private Educational Unit, it has been determined that for a good educational process to exist, active methodologies must be implemented that develop a significant learning in the students, generating a genuine interest to participate in an active way, obtaining new knowledge in relation to generating different experiences.
