Estudio para la implementación de un festival aerostático para la reactivación turística post COVID-19 dentro del cantón Mira en la provincia del Carchi.

Abstract

The present investigation is carried out with the objective of reactivating tourism in the Mira Canton, carrying out a study for the implementation of an aerostatic festival, as a new alternative of adventure sport where tourists have a new experience with nature. Within the context of the research, we also analyzed each of the necessary steps to create this aerostatic festival within the Mira area, which will help to improve the current tourist reactivation, creating a new source of indirect employment for the inhabitants and also attracting the attention of national and foreign tourists. The study as such was conducted using a quantitative methodology, with the purpose of expanding the knowledge supported by best practices such as Capadoccia Turkey and Teotihuacan Mexico to our proposal in Canton Mira, the data were collected through surveys, with the objective of identifying the ease and possibility of generating an aerostatic festival within the canton Mira, it is reflected as such that it is acceptable as long as the requirements are met, since it is evident the presence of a great acceptance by the respondents, this project is perfectly variable and represents an opportunity for tourism reactivation in the canton, this will allow diversifying the existing offer, besides being a source of employment and welfare for society, besides remembering that the possibility of touring the balcony of the Andes from the skies is a great opportunity that more than one would consider and will attract several spectators or adventurers. The purpose of the research is that the canton of Mira can present an opportunity for tourism development, generating direct or indirect benefit to the actors in the sector.
