Abstract

The research topic is the application of interactive tools for the improvement of the teaching and learning of basic notions, where the general objective is to use digital applications through the use of Apps for the improvement of the teaching and learning of basic notions in children of the Paul Dirac Educational Unit in the school year 2020-2021. The methodology applied was documentary, because it was consulted in several sources such as Redalyc, Scielo, Dialnet, Google academic, scientific journals and digital books, to have a scientific support; descriptive, because it was explained how the Apps are adhered in the teaching of basic notions, two research techniques were applied with their respective instruments, these were the interview with a questionnaire and the observation with its checklist. The results were positive since 80% of the teachers agreed with the use of digital tools for the process of teaching and learning basic notions, and through the use of interactive applications, 90% of the children learned the notions faster. The application of interactive tools in the teaching process is very important, since children easily acquire knowledge with what they like, that is to say, they will learn the basic notions in an autonomous and playing way, this will achieve in children a significant learning. At the same time, they will easily identify what they have learned and thus they will increase their capacity for imagination and creativity. On the other hand, for teachers it is a great contribution since it facilitates their work.
