Abstract

The purpose of the research work is to analyze bullying and self-esteem of adolescents of the Vida Nueva Foundation in the second year of technical high school, located in the Guamaní parish of the D.M.Q. in the school year 2020-2021. In order to elaborate the present project, which is part of a research, the participation of students and teachers was taken as a sample, supported by a descriptive and statistical method as essential aspects for the achievement of the purpose. The study is structured in chapters that show the development of the research in a complete and integral way, it makes a complete description of the existing problem of school bullying and its incidence in the self-esteem of the students. The theoretical framework allows us to understand what bullying is and how it affects self-esteem, thus generating a pedagogical and social reflection to achieve a better intrapersonal relationship among members of the community. The proposal aims to determine the types of bullying and propose alternative solutions that would help us in academic performance as well as in the development of self-esteem of students by creating a pleasant environment for their integral formation. Some conclusions and recommendations have been generated that will undoubtedly serve for educational progress as an improvement in the process of routes and protocols in cases of bullying, achieving a change in pedagogical management and with it the main challenge which is the integral development of the human being.
