Abstract

The main objective of this work is the repowering of the brake system, replacing front drums with discs, in the Datsun 1500 vehicle for the Automotive Mechanics course at the Instituto Superior Tecnológico Vida Nueva, it is to allow students and teachers of the career to implement and impart new knowledge for their professional training, since they will have to carry out an arduous research, so they must have previous knowledge for the projection to be taken. The first chapter contains a compilation of information about the history of brake systems, their beginnings, and the types of brakes they have, where we will find detailed specifications about these systems. The second chapter describes the methodology and development of the project, in which the process that was carried out in the course of the research will be discussed in detail, analyzing the type of variable. The third chapter details the repowering of the brake system of the Datsun 1500 vehicle, which covers data collection, description of the practical part, and each of the procedures that were performed for the completion of the project in this chapter we discuss the modification and assembly process.
