Diseño de una feria de rescate cultural artesano enfocada en el desarrollo del turismo sostenible de la provincia de Cotopaxi.

Abstract

The research focuses on enhancing tourism, from the point of view of entrepreneurs, artisans who try to promote and keep afloat the development of sustainable tourism. The fair is considered as a means of promotion and awareness, which generates in the tourist the need to visit the starting point of the crafts, the development of the research focuses on and presents the several products and crafts which are produced in different places of the province which account for a generational tradition of importance for the development of cultural tourism in its utmost expression. The research demonstrates by means of bibliographic search and field exploration, how a fair of this type and category can be executed. The artisans investigated to be part of the research were considered from their activity the level of representation of any type of generational cultural phenomenon representative, the same that will be presented at the fair, in addition the participation of various public and private entities was considered. The purpose of this research is to present in a structured way, the articulation of cultural conservation interests, as a sustainable means for artisans of the province of Cotopaxi.
